I didn't start Dareb as a business. I started it because of a feeling.
I've always been a maker — I know how to 3D print, and I have my own printer. But the real story starts with running.
I used to hike. Then, like a lot of things, I stopped. Recently I picked up jogging again — not for anyone else, just to feel better, clear my head, let off some stress. It became my escape. And somewhere in those runs I noticed something: every route was a small achievement. I showed up, I moved, I finished. I did that.
One day it clicked that I could take those achievements out of my phone and make them real. So I printed one of my own routes. And when I held it, it wasn't just a shape — it reminded me of the purpose behind that run, and that I was the one who made it happen.
Now that trail sits on my shelf. When I look at it, I don't only remember the last run — I look forward to the next one. The next route worth printing.
